Welcome to our basement apartment "Happy Retreat", country living. We offer a comfortable modern apartment located in an area where Ontario first began. The apartment has a pull out couch and a bedroom with king size bed. We are central located with Ottawa about 0.50 min., Montreal 1'20 mins., Thousand Islands 0.45 min away. Our apartment has a separate entrance for privacy. Included is also a sitting area with smoker/BBQ.
Making your stay a breeze, you will be pleased with the large layout, comfortable furnishings, and plenty of amenities to make you feel right at home! Indulge in the well-equipped and open eat-in kitchen with appliances; stocked with all the utensils you need to make your favorite meals or pack up a picnic for the whole crew on the go. After a long day exploring the area, relax on the furnished patio and enjoy supper on your smoker/BBQ. Kick back with a glass of wine, soak in the sunset views.
About Us
We are a retired couple who would love to host people from all over the world. We spend over many years living in Switzerland where we also started our family of four children. We speak both english and german and enjoy traveling, sailing, gardening and entertaining.
